The most interesting man in the world. International man of mystery. Traveller to exotic lands. More airline miles logged than most pilots. Panama, China, Alaska, Japan, Jamaica, Mexico, Scotland, Switzerland, Italy, France...shall I go on? This guy is a world traveller. His service needs to be international. His service needs to be intriguing.
When he is not travelling, he is golfing. He carries some expensive clubs. How does he protect those clubs? With club covers. Anyone know what covers the driver? Anyone, Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
And so I give to Ed Gates, with all of my heart, with warmest wishes....
wait for it...wait for it...
A cow's butt.
That is right, Heifer international is an organization that sends farm animals to the poor in underdeveloped nations. A whole cow is quite expensive, therefore, I purchased a share of a cow in Ed Gates name. The portion I chose for Ed was the cow's butt. To be honest, I don't know where this cow's butt will end up. It could end up in any number of countries in this coming year, just like ED. Thank you Ed, international man of mystery for giving a cow's butt to a needy family. Please see the link below.

ROTFLMCBO (rolling on the floor laughing my cow's butt off)
ReplyDeleteThanks Mike for bringing your sense of humor to this. That is a great gift to be between you and Dad. Plus, it gave Ashley and I a break from tears to laugh as we watched that cow video.
HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Mike you totally sent a cows backside!
ReplyDeleteI crack up laughing every time I read it.
ReplyDeleteMike (and Bill and Amy) inspired me to comment on everyone's post.
Mike great post. During the intro I felt like I was reading a spy novel or watching a Dos Equis beer commercial very clever.
ReplyDeleteMike, you are just to funny! I love it! And I really can't believe you sent part of a cow in behalf of my dad! So great.
ReplyDeleteI love it! The first time I heard of Heifer Intl was on West Wing then looked into it in grad school. AWESOME program! What a great idea mike. I think in the words of Chuck, "Carrie's fingers were DEFINITELY inspired" for this one. This was PERFECT for dad!
ReplyDeleteI do agree with Michael. I was assigned to read this one at breakfast, and I found myself doing it in the tone and rhythm of dos equis.
I am SO grateful for you Mike and I LOVE ALL of your posts on here! I think that has been my favorite part is feeling like we are all together because of the personal comments on each post.
Okay, that is AWESOME!!!! McBride, terrific idea!
ReplyDeleteLove you so much little brother.
